Civil Wedding Ceremony in Basel
Last summer, I had the pleasure of accompanying the civil wedding of Selina & Fabio in Basel.
We already knew each other from a previous shoot with their dog – which made it even more special to be able to document their wedding as well.
The sun was shining and the atmosphere was relaxed as Selina arrived with her friend in a beautiful vintage VW T3.
The ceremony took place at the civil registry office in Basel, an elegant patrician house with classic architecture that gave the moment a particularly refined and timeless feel..
After the ceremony, the guests made their way to the apéro, while we set off for the couple’s photo session. We first wandered through the
narrow streets around the registry office in Basel before continuing to the cloister of Basel Minster.

he Gothic sandstone, the soft light and the quiet surroundings made it an impressive and atmospheric setting for the shoot.
Afterwards, we joined everyone again for the apéro.
It was a truly beautiful and relaxed day with the two of them, and I’m already very much looking forward to their big wedding next year.
