Get to know me better :)
I enjoy philosophizing about life – with the art of not taking everything too seriously and being able to laugh at myself and everything else. I love thermal baths and, above all, spending time in the sauna.
With my dog Nora, I like to travel in the camper van – whether by a river, at a lake, or in the mountains. I love that feeling of freedom.
Just like with music, which has always been a big part of my life. While editing photos, for example, I enjoy listening to Moritz Krämer or Alexi Murdoch.
I’m a sun child at heart: I love light, harmony, good vibes, humor, respect, and kindness. Pizza and chocolate like me too! ;)
I’m happy to follow you across Germany, Switzerland, and worldwide – wherever your stories take place.

Hi, i am Christian Müller
I got my artist name, Chris Milla, during my DJ days. “Milla” in Italian means something like “Wow” – and that is exactly the feeling I have loved ever since: when a moment says more than a thousand words.
49 years old, born and raised in Neuenburg am Rhein, later attending a private school in Freiburg – Südbaden is and always will be my home. For many years, I was on the road as a DJ, producing music and soaking up the stage atmosphere. I started painting and creating collages. Creativity has accompanied me all my life.
As a former DJ and video editor, I know exactly how to tell a story that gives you goosebumps even after 20 years. I know when to push for the group photo and when to make myself invisible for the emotional tears in the background.
Whether we stand in the registry office in Freiburg town hall, shoot in the Black Forest among the fir trees, or celebrate at one of the wineries in Markgräflerland – I have had the privilege of accompanying most of these locations and I know the area around Freiburg well.
"Chris was the perfect companion for our day. He found exactly the right balance between being present and working unobtrusively in the background."

Capturing over 100 weddings in Freiburg and the surrounding area.
I’ve been photographing for 12 years now, and for the past 6 years, I’ve been working full-time as a wedding photographer in Freiburg, Basel, and worldwide.
This work fulfills me deeply, and I wouldn’t want to miss it for anything!
I came to photography through street photography. I was fascinated by capturing life as it really is – unposed and honest.
This approach is still reflected in my work today. For me, weddings are more than just beautiful setups. It’s about anticipating and capturing the essence of the moment.
That’s why I love wedding reportage so much! The real stuff, you know what I mean.
If you choose to work with me, just be yourselves on your day. Don’t feel shy around me or the camera, and most importantly – have fun! ;)
"The photos turned out simply beautiful and tell our story in a truly special way. You can tell that Chris does his job with real passion and knows exactly how to capture the most beautiful moments."

I’m fascinated by rustic landscapes, rocky cliffs, towering mountains, untamed nature, wide vistas, rivers, lakes, and the sea.

My dog Nora is a lively girl who enjoys life to the fullest. With her social and energetic nature, she’s a real whirlwind – and that’s exactly why I love her even more. :)

Whether in Andalusia, southern France, Italy, or Switzerland, I love traveling with my camper.

I love to travel and enjoy discovering new people, cultures, and landscapes.

I find vinyl records, cassette players, analog cameras, and the like more than just cool.

In my free time, I enjoy painting or creating photo collages, for example.

To my Swiss friends: I also understand Swiss German ;)
I have several Swiss friends and even some relatives. I live not far from Basel and am often in Switzerland – both for work and privately.
I also speak a bit of Italian, as my mother is from Sicily.
I’m excited to learn more about you and your plans.
Cheers & chat soon,
Chris
